There’s one chance left for the remaining postseason drivers to stay on the road to $500,000 and earn a ticket to the Championship 4 Finale on October 13th. Steven Wilson is still the only driver with a seat on stage reserved. Three drivers are still to be determined, and it all comes down to a 100-lap shootout at Kansas Speedway on Tuesday night.
In this 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series season, Wilson’s biggest threat has been Bobby Zalenski, and Zalenski enters Tuesday night in the best points position. Wyatt Tinsley and Tucker Minter also sit above the cut for now, but the gap is tight, and a win-and-in scenario still exists among those still vying for the title.

PREVIOUS RACE: QUENTIN WARMAN PLAYS POSTSEASON SPOILER AT TEXAS
With nine drivers in a position to win and get into the Championship 4 Finale, last week’s battle at Texas Motor Speedway ultimately came down to three drivers who were not under that stipulation. Steven Wilson already had the win to get in, and was hoping to add another win to his total to prevent his rivals from getting the same luxury he earned already at Michigan earlier.
Seth DeMerchant and Quentin Warman both missed out on the postseason, but both had winning their first career race on their mind at Texas in the closing laps. On the final restart, DeMerchant was in second and Warman was third. Wilson defended DeMerchant as best he could on older tires, but could not hold them both off, leading to a three-wide brawl on the final lap. Warman, on the inside, had the advantage and scored the win.
LAST TIME AT KANSAS: STEVEN WILSON ADDS TO RECORD IN REGULAR SEASON SHOWDOWN
Kansas Speedway returned to the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series schedule in 2025 for the first time since 2022, that race won by Garrett Lowe. In the most-recent event, names like Parker White, Casey Kirwan, and Tucker Minter shared the lead at different intervals. Also in the conversation, from the 22nd starting spot, was Steven Wilson, who faced earlier adversity, just barely surviving an early race wreck.
In the closing laps, the race went into eNASCAR Overtime with Briar LaPradd staying out to lead the field back to the final green. Minter had won the race off of pit road, but Wilson got to restart right behind LaPradd, who had timed the restart perfectly, allowing Wilson to follow through and into the lead coming to the white flag. LaPradd’s lack of tires relegated him to 38th in just two laps, but the moment was just perfect enough for Wilson to take the win.
LAST YEAR IN POSTSEASON FINALE: SALAS WALKS OFF INTO CHAMPIONSHIP 4 AT PHOENIX
Last year, the postseason finale took place at Phoenix Raceway, and it resulted in a dominant performance, and ultimately, a walk-off into the Championship 4 Finale for Vicente Salas. A win was Salas’s only sure fire ticket to the Finale, as he entered the night 16 points below the cut line.
Salas will need a similar performance this year to make it to the Championship 4 for a second-straight season, as will the driver Salas took out of the top-four with his win last year, Parker White. Both Salas and White were in prime position at Texas before their night’s unraveled late racing inside the top-five before both crashed out.

Zalenski can clinch a place in the Championship 4 Finale with a finish of 10th or better at Kansas. His best finish at Kansas is a third in 2020, but his other five attempts have resulted in a best finish of 17th in 2019, and his average finish is around 22nd in six career races. Wyatt Tinsley is only nine points ahead of sixth place Shawn Conklin, those two plus Tucker Minter and Connor Yeroschak all under a blanket.
Garrett Lowe and Casey Kirwan aren’t mathematically out of contention on points, but with Parker White and Vicente Salas behind them having to win to jump ahead and make the Championship 4 Finale, they might as well be must-wins. At least two drivers will make the Championship 4 Finale in Uptown Charlotte on points, but it could be all three remaining spots if Steven Wilson or another non-playoff competitor takes the win.

KANSAS SPEEDWAY TRACK FACTS
Since 2001, Kansas Speedway has been a staple of the fall portion of the NASCAR Cup Series calendar, adding itself as a major contesting point of the NASCAR postseason in the last few seasons. Jeff Gordon took the first two race wins on the 1.5-mile oval and has been joined by other NASCAR champions like Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Brad Keselowski, and Kevin Harvick as past winners at the track.
Alongside its events in all three national NASCAR tours and the ARCA Menards Series, Kansas added a second Cup race in the spring of 2011, which has occasionally run at night under the lights that were installed that same year. Most recently, the track received a reconfiguration in 2012 to add variable banking.
