Parker White dominates, scores eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series win in Indianapolis

If the sixth round of the 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway ended after 59 laps, things would have been a lot less convoluted, although the fact that Williams F1 Team Gaming’s Parker White still managed to pull off the victory in any case.

Following three attempts at eNASCAR Overtime, all of which were met with periods of caution in Turns 1 and 2 on each restart, White claimed the victory after 72 laps following a decision made by Race Control.

There were some caveats. At the time of the final, race-ending caution, fgrAccel eRacing’s Ryan Luza had managed to pip JR Motorsports’ Zack Novak for the lead of the race in the middle of Turn 2. The problem was that those two, as well as ERA eSport Team’s Michael Cosey Jr in third, as well as a couple of other drivers pacing the field, did not have enough virtual fuel in their tanks to maintain a proper pace speed. Parker White, who had plenty of gas in the tank, was able to make it back around and take the checkers.

Novak was forced to tow. Cosey managed to make it back to a closed pit road and take a splash. Luza stayed out and coasted, but could not maintain his pace speed. This created an unprecedented result where the running order was jumbled to a point that Race Control was tasked with manually figuring out the placements of the race. The only thing that was clear by the end of the broadcast and confirmed was that White had returned to eNASCAR victory lane for the third time in his career, his first win since winning the 2024 title. This win all but solidifies his place in the 2026 eNASCAR Playoffs

“I knew that there was going to be a caution to come out, that’s just my luck,” White said post-race. “I made it to Turn 3 with two to go and we got a caution. Restarted like 20th, or something. Yeah. I don’t know. This season hasn’t been that great for me, but this is going to help a lot… I would have really hated to lose this race, so I’m really happy, it turned out like this.”

There were criteria in which the field was redressed following the show. Per Race Control, finishing positions were then adjusted, where applicable, using the following criteria:

  • Drivers involved in the final lap incident were placed based on where they rejoined the field after recovering and returning to pace speed.,
  • Drivers who entered pit road before taking the white flag were placed behind those who remained on track.,
  • Drivers who ran out of fuel or failed to maintain pace speed were placed behind those who finished under power.

As both Novak and Vicente Salas (Kanaan Esports) were unable to make it back around and needed a tow, they were placed behind Luza, who did ultimately make it back around, as well as Cosey and Logan Helton (eRacr) who both came down pit road before the end of the race. There was also the accident in Turns 1 and 2 to consider, and while normally those positions are determined by the iRacing in-game scoring, due to the scoring mess, those positions were frozen at the time of caution with drivers earning their spot where they rejoined the pace field.

Tucker Minter (William Byron eSports) and Casey Kirwan (Kansas City Pioneers) rounded out the podium. Garrett Lowe (BS+COMPETITION) finished 17th, which was enough to get him around Steven Wilson (Spire Motorsports) for the Segment 2 title, earning another five points towards the eNASCAR Playoffs. Wilson was credited with 23rd.

Segment 3 begins in two weeks with the seventh round of the Championship Series season at Nashville Superspeedway. Minter is looking to make it three-in-a-row at the concrete 1.3-mile venue. Coverage starts at 7:45 p.m. ET with the Countdown to Green over on eNASCAR.com/live.

WHITE UNSTOPPABLE… UNTIL LATE RACE CHAOS

For 58-and-a-half laps of a scheduled 60 laps at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, everything seemed as though it would be Parker White’s night from top to bottom on Tuesday night. Make no mistake that Indianapolis is one of the most historic tracks that any series can visit, but on Tuesday night, for the most part, it became more about the strategy on pit road than it did about the ability to make up positions on track.

The field collectively knew that track position would be key, thus making qualifying as important as ever. Through practice and the majority of qualifying, William Byron eSports’ Christopher Hill was the fastest man at the Brickyard, but in the closing seconds of the time trials, Parker White managed to snipe the pole and take the top spot.

On the start, Hill fought as hard as he could to make the move, but before the lap had even ended, White managed to get control and keep it for the rest of the initial green flag run.

After a few laps, the field began to single file out. Some drivers were using the line racing to save fuel. With a four-tire pit stop now faster than ever, waiting on fuel could cost seconds on the track, so saving everything they could to make it to the end with the least amount of time on pit road was crucial. The sentiment set up the field for playing the race backwards, for the most part.

With fuel tanks that could go nearly 40 laps, and the race being a 60-lap showdown in regulation, the cycle officially began at Lap 21 with Garrett Lowe and Tucker Minter. Over the next five laps, the majority of the rest of the field also came down for service. Only four drivers went longer—Apex Racing Team’s Ryan Doucette, eRacr’s Logan Helton, TC Esports’ Jake Nichols, and ERA eSports Team’s Michael Cosey Jr.

Around halfway, Doucette and Helton bit the bullet and took service. Nichols folded a few laps later. Only Cosey Jr waited out his gas to the bitter end and brought it down for service at Lap 39. That handed the lead back to White, and it seemed as though that would be it.

There were a few moments where there were nearly cautions. Kenny Brady (Team Dillon Esports) had an incredible save after contact with Seth Noell (eRacr), and there were a couple of moments where Garrett Manes (Rick Ware Racing) found himself in a three-wide scenario, but all of the drivers would figure it out and keep rolling forward.

With just over a lap to go, White was nearly at the white flag, but in Turn 1, a spin by Thomas Lloyd (Letarte Esports) after contact with Sebastian Marin (Kanaan Esports) and Femi Olatunbosun (Spire Motorsports) set up for a finish that nobody could predict.

DESPITE CHAOS, WHITE STILL INEVITABLE

On the first pass of pit road under the first caution, the field was split. 17 cars opted to stay out. Parker White was not one of them. White would restart in 18th, and the lead now belonged to Christopher Hill. The hope for the drivers staying out was that there would be no further incidents so that they could make it to the end on their fuel, and the thought from those who pitted was that they didn’t think there was a world where they made it to the completion of the race without a little more gas in the tank.

Overtime No. 1 came and went. It was the big one, more than half of the field involved in the fracas. A disaster for most of the drivers that stayed out. Some opted to pit this time, including Hill. That gave control of the race to Zack Novak, who was also low on fuel. White was up to eighth, but had collected a little damage during the incident. Overtime No. 2 then went off, and again, it was calamity in Turns 1 and 2.

That presented a tough scenario for some. Novak, Ryan Luza, and a couple of others were extremely low on fuel, and would need a quick third and final caution to freeze the field, to give them a win similar to Steven Wilson’s win here a year ago. They got their wish as the caution flew during Overtime No. 3, but their calculations were off, and that set the stage for the post-race cleanup.

Luza did take the caution as the leader, and he did make it around to the checkers, but he was so far off pace trying to stretch the fuel that he could not maintain a proper catch up speed and line up behind the pace car before the checkered flag. White made his way back up to fourth by the time of the caution, and with the three ahead of him running out of or dangerously low on gas, he was able to claim the victory.

POINTS SITUATION LEAVING INDIANAPOLIS

Only three races remain in the 2026 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series Regular Season. As long as all four of the winners stay inside the top-20 over the next three races, they will race for a title in 2026. That is the only reassurance, is having a win. Points are as volatile as ever, with the top driver in points less than a race ahead of 11th in the Playoff points. Also, if Bobby Zalenski were to fall out of the top-20, despite his two wins, that would open up another place for a points scorer.

Spire Motorsports continues to lead the Team Championship, Shawn Conklin continues to lead the Rookie Standings, and a new Segment is set to start in two weeks time. Steven Wilson won the first Segment, and now Garrett Lowe has claimed the second, both earning five extra Playoff Points to take with them to the Round of 10.

NEXT RACE: SEGMENT 3—AND FINAL STRETCH TO PLAYOFFS—BEGINS AT NASHVILLE

Following Indianapolis, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Championship Series will race next at Nashville Superspeedway in two weeks. Only three races will remain to secure a place in the 2026 eNASCAR Playoffs, all starting with the third and final Segment at the concrete venue,

Last season, Tucker Minter scored his third win of the 2025 season at Nashville, and his second at the track in-a-row, after a caution-free battle against Ryan Luza, Bobby Zalenski, and Steven Wilson.

The action from Nashville starts on July 28th with the Countdown to Green pre-race show at 7:45 p.m. ET.
