eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Rule Update: Road Course Incident Limit

To promote cleaner racing, we’re introducing an incident limit for road courses in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola Series. While the series currently has no incident limit, we previously implemented one for road courses to reduce off-track abuse. The main challenge has been that all incidents, including 4x car contacts, contribute to the total, which has led to opposition from drivers. However, similar rules across iRacing have proven effective in minimizing off-track violations and encouraging cleaner racing.

The rule is as follows:
Road Course Races: An incident limit will be enforced at all road courses events as follows:

  • 20x incident will result in a drive-through penalty
  • Every additional 10x incidents will incur an additional drive-through penalty.
  • Truck Abuse: Driving in the grass, dirt, sand, or gravel to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.

Drivers will receive a drive-through penalty at 20 incidents, with additional penalties every 10 incidents thereafter. Incident counts reset at the start of each race session (e.g., 0 for the 12-lap heat, 0 for the 24-lap main)
