Dirt track racing with Bell and Bowyer
iRacing dirt series champions got the opportunity to meet — and sling some dirt — with NASCAR drivers and dirt-racing enthusiasts Clint Bowyer and Christopher Bell Wednesday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
Seventeen-year-old Blake Matjoulis won the dirt late model series, while 19-year-old Alex Bergeron won the dirt sprint car series. Both teenagers impressed the pros.

Lot of fun at @TheDirtTrack today. If you don’t think @iRacing is for real you’re crazy. I just watched Blake, our 17yr old @iracing LM Champ that’s NEVER sat in a real race car turn laps that blew me away! Proud to be a part of @iRacing. 👏 pic.twitter.com/618StRJzym

Had a great time hanging out with @IRacing champ @RacingBergeron today. He’s the real deal! Crazy how iracer’s can hop in real cars and be so good! https://t.co/WcFpcPQROc

From the game, to the track!🏁
For never having turned a single lap in a real racecar before, Blake did an awesome job in the @bowyerdirt @iRacing Late Model!
…even @ClintBowyer himself was impressed👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/Oc6WEurhS7

Cleaning out the Office
While the iRacing crew is working on moving out of their current office into some new digs, Executive Vice President and Executive Producer Steve Myers shared his trip down memory lane with some old findings from the office.
If we are a bit grouchy the next 10 days or so please forgive us. We are packing up the @iRacing office to move next Friday to our new space! And yes it’s dark in the office because of stupid daylight savings. Back half of the office likes it dark! pic.twitter.com/rsUELpozoB

You remember this @DaleJr? We did a promotion with Nabisco and made this Supersnack 500 game for them. Winners got to fly to @ChicagolndSpdwy to meet DEI drivers. This was weekend I actually met Dale in person for the first time. I am not getting much packing done… pic.twitter.com/vKouZDJgkn

Back at Papyrus we had to copy physical disks whenever we wanted the testers to test a new build. We had to stuff envelopes with these build disks every time! I seemed to have saved a lot of them… pic.twitter.com/cQjTVEvm00

Packing up my office is like a sim racing archeology site. Back at Papyrus I used to have these nerf footballs that I would fire at people walking through the office. After NR2002 and NR2003 shipped I had the entire company sign them. pic.twitter.com/I5OizOouv3

Did you know the crew produced a never-released console karting game prototype using Simpsons characters? We didn’t, either.
This is a fascinating piece of history right here. Did you know before Papyrus closed we had a fully functioning level of a Mario Kart type console game using our physics model? It was super fun and Vivendi didn’t green light it because they had just finished up Crash Bandicoot. pic.twitter.com/1MLCVpneHZ

NASCAR Heat teases November DLC
The NASCAR Heat 4 crew showed off some of the upcoming content available soon in November’s DLC pack — including popular paint schemes like Kyle Larson’s Dover-winning ride and what appears to be a floating Ally logo in the middle of the screen. Oh, wait, it’s just camouflage on the No. 48 ride.
Happy Veterans Day! The November DLC is almost here! Who is excited for some patriotic paint schemes!? #NASCAR #NASCARHeat pic.twitter.com/h2FKhZNGyK

Bowlin goes back-to-back in iRacing Pro Series
In the off-season qualifier series for the eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze iRacing Series, Graham A. Bowlin claimed victory last Tuesday at Richmond Raceway, spoiling what looked like a promising night for Cody Byus, who dominated much of the race but ended up finishing 29th after a crash.
This week, the series visited the Monster Mile, where Bowlin repeated his Richmond triumph to go back-to-back and extend his points lead.
The iRacing Pro Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway next Tuesday for the fifth race of the mini-series. The top 20 drivers in points at the end of seven races graduate to iRacing’s premier eNASCAR series.
iRacing Paint Scheme of the Week
Throwback paint schemes never go out of style. Dustin Winegardner revived Ted Musgrave’s 1995 paint scheme for the modern-day NASCAR Cup Series Ford Mustang — and, we must say, it aged quite nicely.

Practice? Yeah, it’s always such a productive use of time.
@RReSports @RichmondRaceway thanks for letting us use the track, we were on our best behavior we promise. #CriticalTesting pic.twitter.com/qM39SDLTpD
