The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series is rolling out a new rule adjustment aimed at improving race flow and minimizing excessive cautions. Effective immediately, the following update will be added:
Consecutive Cautions Restart Single File – If a caution occurs within 2 laps of the start or restart, the subsequent restart will be single file. In the event that the race enters a green-white-checkered scenario, all restarts will be double file. Admins may change the 2-lap threshold during an event with an admin command.
This rule aims to reduce early-race incidents, keep competition fair, and ensure smoother race operations throughout the season.
