Wide World of Esports: iRacing Season 2 build, Heat Pro League draft

iRacing’s Season 2 build released

On Tuesday, iRacing released its quarterly season build, which included a number of notable updates, including graphics updates and the long-awaited Daytona Rising version of Daytona International Speedway.

The Season 2 build also features NASCAR’s new aero rules package for Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series cars. Ahead of last week’s eNASCAR PEAK Antifreeze iRacing Series race, iRacing’s Senior Vehicle Dynamics Engineer Eric Hudec shared some insight into the development of the new rules package for iRacing.

As usual, plenty of NASCAR drivers spent time during the week hitting the virtual track.
